How to read the stories.

Every story carries one of three labels, so you always know what kind of evidence you're reading.

Observed. Something our team saw during a NetOps IQ pilot, assessment or controlled demonstration. Names and identifying details are removed.

Independent evidence. Public reporting or research from a named outside source. You'll find the sources in the notes at the back, with publication dates where available.

Illustrative. A realistic scenario we built to explain how the problem works. It is not a real incident, and we never present it as one.

One more rule. When we describe a real outage or a real attack, we never claim Findavi would have stopped it. We use real events to show the stakes. We use our own work to show the method.
